RGB Values
Hexadecimal values are simple when you get to grips with them. Lets look at the color red - #FF0000
Every hex value starts with a # sign. Next we split the numbers into 3 groups of two. FF, 00 and 00. The first group is the red, the second green and the third is blue (similar to RGB values)
The next thing you should know about is the number scale. In Hexadecimal, the numbers go up as follows:
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F
Now I wont go into too much detail, however the higher up the scale the two numbers are, the more the value. FF is the highest and 00 is the lowest. They can be mixed such as 9F or A5, however most times I tend to keep them the same.
So if you want green you would use #00FF00
For blue you'd use #0000FF
For pink use #FF00FF
Keep playing about until you learn how it works better
RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue and it uses a specific amount of each colour mixed together to make a colour. Each color can have a maximum amount of '255' or '100%' and obviously a minimum of '0'.
These is the colour red as RGB values:
RGB(255, 0, 0)
RGB(0%, 0% ,0%)
These is the colour green as RGB values:
RGB(0, 255, 0)
RGB(0%, 100% ,0%)
These is the colour blue as RGB values:
RGB(0, 0, 255)
RGB(0%, 0% ,100%)
These is the colour magenta as RGB values:
RGB(255, 0, 255)
RGB(100%, 0% ,100%)
