Super Smash Duel Demo 1.0

Jun 14, 2008 by X2I

Right so, flash is being all n00by with me at the moment so I decided its time to give you something to fiddle with. So, im going to release an unfinished version of duel that was discarded in favour of the new engine and character makeovers.

So dont, by any means, judge the game as a whole by this demo because it has changed dramatically since this version.

Yes I know of a lot of glitches with it too but as it has been discarded, dont ask me to fix them because chances are they have been fixed in a later version. Also, a lot of things might not work properly but just bear with them as this is a VERY early demo.

Play Super Smash Duel Demo 1.0

Features

As of yet, this game requires two people to play using the keyboard. Keys can be customized using the menu. And although there are four counters, only players 1 and 2 work.

You can play as Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Pikachu, Kirby, Link and Peach (to access peach, just drop the cursor under Luigi's square)

Levels include Battlefield, Yoshi's Island, Norfair, Pokémon Stadium, Bridge of Eldin, Warioware, Green Hill, Mario Circuit.

To spawn a smash ball press the END key. No other items exist as of yet besides the hammer on Battlefield. Sorry you have to restart the flash to have another go.

Super Smash Duel Demo 1.1

Jun 20, 2008 by X2I

Okay so some of you may have heard me mention that I had two parts of this game which were seperate, well I decided to release the other half as the next demo; however the same explanation as the first demo applies. This was just another attempt at a decent engine and was ditched in favour of the newer one so, although the physics engine is different and arguebly a tad better than the first demo, it still bears no resemblance to the engine which is currently being used in the full version that I am currently working on.

Features

As of yet, this game requires two people to play using the keyboard. Keys can be customized using the menu. And although there are four counters, only players 1 and 2 work.

You can play as Mario, Sonic, Jigglypuff (Unfinished), Squirtle (Nearly Complete), Ivysaur (Half complete) and Charizard (No where near complete). Note that Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard are all part of the pokémon trainer character and can be switched by pressing taunt and the smash button.

Levels include Battlefield, Yoshi's Island, Norfair, Pokémon Stadium, Bridge of Eldin, Warioware, Smashville and Frigate Orpheon.

To spawn a smash ball press the END key. Items that exist are Heart containers, Pokeballs (containing Bellossom, Electrode and Snorlax) and an Assist Trophy containing Shadow. Sorry you have to restart the flash to have another go. Yes you can still highlight characters that are missing from the last demo but they will not load. Also some levels that worked previously will now not work the same (the ones not mentioned above)
